"Dust art thou and unto dust must thou return"

Rodeph Sholom operates two cemeteries, one on Shepard St. the other on Kings Highway. Both are places of internment for Jewish people only. According to Jewish law, a cemetery is holy ground. Only those born to a Jewish mother or converted to Judaism are eligible for burial therein. All internments and services must be conducted in conformity with Jewish law as determined by the Rabbi of Congregation Rodeph Sholom.

Purchase of plots must be arranged through Mr. Green.

The cemeteries are open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (6:00 p.m. during daylight savings). We are closed on Shabbat and on all major Jewish holidays. For further information please contact Mr. Green or the congregational office.
