Music at Congregation Rodeph Sholom

Music has always played an important role at Rodeph Sholom. In our 100-year history, we have enjoyed the long tenures of Cantors David Leon and Y'shaya Grama and their respective choirs. Now our new Cantor, Jason Green (a lyric tenor and choral conductor), brings us a new experience in modern Jewish Music but steeped in the tradition, and flavored lightly with the cantorial accents of years gone by. On his arrival in August of 2008, he created both a youth choir and a mixed adult choir, which have both performed with distinction at Rodeph Sholom's Gala Centennial Concert in June of 2009.
